More 4WD for your Big Adventure

Swedish adventurer Christer Gerlach completed the first ever solo world circuit covering over 27,000km and crossing 11 countries driving a Kia Sorrento.

The Sorrento V6 accompanied Gerlach through some of the world"s most extreme terrain, including the unmapped wastelands of Siberia, while never missing a beat.

Including nudge bar, alloy side steps, cargo protector, tow bar, rear parking sensors, roof bar set, ARB recovery kit, genuine mat set, and Global Circuit badging, the Global Circuit pack adds to the 2.5-litre CRDi turbo diesel engine and class leading towing capacity of 2.8 tonnes on the Kia Sorrento.

The Sorrento also features ABS Brakes with EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), dual front airbags, high and low range 4WD, and alloy wheels, providing an exhilarating off-road freedom combined with luxury and refinement.

Best Ute of the Year - Again

The Navara D40 has again been awarded the prestigious 4x4 Australia Magazine"s "Best Ute of the Year" Award for the third year running.

In 2006 the Navara D40 Dual Cab turbo diesel 4x4 manual took out the "Ute of the Year" title and in 2007 it was followed by the auto.

Now in 2008 the Navara D40 Dual Cab ST-X 4x4 turbo diesel has been crowned as the Best Ute of 2008.

This came in the wake of the Navara D40 ST-X 4.0L V6 petrol Dual Cab being awarded as the Best Petrol Ute of 2008 by Overlander 4WD Magazine.

With an award winning ST-X Dual Cab and now the addition to the range of a Single Cab and King Cab, the Nissan Navara D40 really is "Tough at Work and Hard at Play".

Kia's got Soul

Kia has announced that the Kia Soul concept car will be launched as a production model to go on sale in early 2009.

After making its premier as a concept at the Detroit Motor Show back in 2006, the production model will make its world debut next month.

The Soul will be available in three models - Soul Burner, Soul Diva and Soul Searcher, with manual and automatic transmissions available in selected markets.

With the option of three engines - two petrol variants and one diesel - the Kia Soul range is set to be an urban crossover like no other.

The Soul will be able to accommodate five adults comfortably with its spacious interior and clever design body.

Production of the Kia Soul will begin in November this year.

We are eagerly awaiting its international debut at the Paris Motor Show next month and its arrival in Australia in early 2009.  Stay tuned for more information.

The Legendary Supercar

The arrival of Nissan"s famous supercar, the GT-R, is looming ever closer with sales expected to commence in Australia over the next 12 months.

After making its Australian debut earlier this year at the Melbourne Motor Show, sales of the GT-R in Japan, which has been available since December 2007 have been outstripping supply.

Following its Japanese release, the GT-R has been released in the US first, with the Middle East, Europe, Britain and Australia there after.

The GT-R has inspired a worldwide cult following, and with 352kW of power, thoroughbred racing heritage and the ability to reach 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, it's easy to see why.

The V-Spec model supercar also recently recorded one of the fastest times at the infamous Nurburgring race track in Germany of 7:25 beating out the likes of the Porsche Carrera GT (7:28) making it one of the fastest cars ever.
